Responsibilities
- Take ownership of complex reliability and infrastructure challenges, navigating uncertainty while collaborating across teams as needed
- Shape platform architecture, tooling, and long-term technical direction by contributing to roadmaps and influencing team priorities
- Establish and manage reliability standards including service level objectives, error budgets, alerting strategies, and observability practices, using operational data to guide decisions
- Address cross-functional requests by identifying root causes and converting repeated issues into reusable solutions and documented procedures
- Integrate AI into daily workflows by default, building reusable prompts, tools, and codebase features that enable safe, faster delivery across teams
- Design systems with clean interfaces and strong observability to support AI-assisted operations and simplify change reviews
- Define and promote secure-by-default patterns, continuous integration safeguards, and AI-supported review standards across domains
- Guide junior engineers through mentorship, provide constructive feedback, and support hiring, onboarding, and technical proposal discussions
