Paired is looking for a Senior Short-Form Video Editor to create engaging video content for social media platforms. You will lead the editing process, collaborate with creative teams, and ensure content is optimized for maximum performance.
What You'll Do
- Lead the editing process for short-form video content, ensuring high-quality and engaging narratives.
- Collaborate closely with creative teams to develop concepts and storyboards for video projects.
- Optimize video edits for different social media platforms to enhance viewer engagement.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine video content and improve overall quality.
- Stay current with video trends and editing techniques to keep content fresh.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently while adhering to tight deadlines.
- Train and mentor junior editors to enhance the team’s overall skill set.
- Utilize internal libraries and stock footage to enhance video narratives.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in video editing, particularly for short-form content.
- Expert proficiency in editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong creative vision and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft engaging narratives.
- Proven experience in video performance analysis to drive content strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a creative team and guide junior staff.
- Familiarity with motion graphics and sound design to enhance video content.
- Strong understanding of social media trends and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
