Responsibilities
- Design and sustain advanced storefront implementations on Shopify with current development standards
- Create and adapt Shopify themes using modular, reusable elements and scalable structure
- Operate across various components of the Shopify platform, including themes, applications, add-ons, and native features
- Integrate Shopify Functions, tracking pixels, and other advanced commerce tools as required
- Assist in developing headless or hybrid headless Shopify implementations when necessary
- Develop efficient, sustainable frontend and backend systems for fast, reliable eCommerce performance
- Partner with UX designers, solution architects, and product teams within an Agile workflow
- Produce well-documented, stable code with a focus on speed, scalability, and long-term maintenance
- Support release processes and engineering pipelines using Git collaboration and continuous integration and deployment standards
