Responsibilities
- Define and drive the strategic direction, planning, and implementation of security engineering initiatives spanning enterprise protection, threat detection, and operational resilience.
- Supervise, mentor, and grow a team of security engineers by setting clear objectives, fostering performance tracking, maintaining operational cadence, and supporting professional development.
- Develop and enhance preventive security measures across corporate infrastructure, cloud platforms, identity systems, endpoint devices, SaaS tools, and security operations processes.
- Strengthen threat detection, investigation, and incident response capabilities by improving alert accuracy, detection coverage, logging practices, automation, and response procedures.
- Lead collaborative security efforts across engineering, IT, compliance, legal, risk, and business units to align security goals with organizational strategy, risk appetite, and operational demands.
- Define and communicate key security engineering and operations metrics that reflect program performance, control efficacy, detection and response efficiency, remediation status, and risk mitigation results.
- Assess and refine security tools, workflows, and safeguards to minimize systemic vulnerabilities, improve efficiency, and prioritize high-impact security activities.
- Advance the maturity of security programs by diagnosing persistent challenges, resolving root causes, and implementing sustainable improvements.

- Hiring for roles based in Canada is not currently available in Quebec.
