Responsibilities
- Lead and enhance the organization's vulnerability management program with a focus on application-level security, including container images, dependencies, code scanning, and runtime threat detection.
- Develop and support security tools that seamlessly integrate into CI/CD pipelines and developer processes to enable automatic protection without manual gates.
- Apply artificial intelligence extensively to accelerate secure coding, automate security analysis, and create scalable intelligent systems beyond manual capabilities.
- Evaluate and strengthen the use of system telemetry to improve visibility and detection across environments.
- Collaborate directly with engineering teams to promote secure development by delivering tools and configurations that make secure choices the default.
- Respond to security incidents when necessary, but prioritize building proactive systems that prevent and detect issues before they arise.
- Remain agile and adaptive as priorities evolve, ready to address new challenges in a fast-changing technical landscape.
