Responsibilities
- Analyze potential threats in new product features and integrations, implementing robust security measures to strengthen system resilience.
- Maintain and enhance the application security toolchain to ensure it delivers actionable insights for development teams.
- Manage daily security operations including endpoint detection, cloud security, identity controls, SIEM, and on-chain monitoring.
- Evaluate and prioritize security alerts, investigate incidents, resolve vulnerabilities, and reduce false positives.
- Assess findings from vulnerability scans and bug bounty programs based on real-world risk, guiding remediation efforts to completion.
- Support incident response from initial detection through investigation, containment, and resolution.
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and enterprise-wide deployment of security tools and platforms.
- Work closely with engineering, infrastructure, product, and cross-functional teams to integrate security practices.
- Automate routine security tasks using artificial intelligence across areas such as vulnerability management, access reviews, compliance, and reporting.
- Develop reusable AI-powered tools, Claude skills, and autonomous security agents for adoption across technical teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of practical experience in security engineering, spanning application security and operational security.
- Proven ability to conduct in-depth technical security evaluations of software and infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience hardening systems, analyzing security policies, and deploying effective controls.
- Adversarial thinking with the ability to simulate attacker behavior and question underlying assumptions.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
- Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or equivalent platforms.
- Demonstrated experience applying large language models and AI to automate security workflows and build tools used by engineering teams.
- Track record leading security initiatives from vendor assessment to company-wide implementation.
- Experience securing systems that handle high-volume or high-value transactions.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical risks and drive resolution of security issues.
Nice to Have
- Background in cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, decentralized finance (DeFi), or on-chain security monitoring.
- Experience protecting financial systems or platforms with heavy transaction loads.
