Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor junior team members to enhance the organization's cybersecurity posture and hygiene practices
- Focus remediation activities using a risk-based methodology when responding to configuration deviations
- Write custom scripts to access application APIs and collect data on security configurations within scope
- Design and maintain dashboards and alerting systems to notify stakeholders of configuration changes and needed actions
- Work with engineers and stakeholders to define CIS benchmarks aligned with internal security requirements
- Engage with internal cybersecurity units to integrate systems into the posture and hygiene monitoring framework
- Enforce compliance across platforms by ensuring continuous tracking of configuration integrity for on-premises and cloud-hosted infrastructure
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning, including model training processes, effective use cases, and areas requiring human oversight, especially in security contexts
- Ensure ethical and appropriate use of AI in posture and hygiene workflows by validating AI-generated findings, avoiding excessive automation dependence, and verifying alignment with security baselines and risk thresholds
- Guide and support less experienced staff to improve the effectiveness of cybersecurity posture and hygiene initiatives
- Comply with corporate policies and standards, including code of conduct, safety, GxP, data protection, and software development lifecycle requirements
