Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices throughout the software development lifecycle, from initial design to production deployment
- Lead security-focused reviews including code analysis, threat modeling, and architectural evaluations for high-impact systems
- Architect and deploy static, dynamic, and software composition analysis tools to detect vulnerabilities at early development stages
- Integrate automated security testing into continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows
- Establish and maintain secure coding guidelines, security-focused libraries, and modular protections for developer use
- Execute penetration tests and assess vulnerabilities across web platforms, APIs, and mobile applications
- Evaluate, classify, and manage security flaws in coordination with engineering teams to ensure timely resolution
- Develop and support a security champions initiative, delivering training and resources to internal engineering groups
- Analyze new and evolving application security risks and apply findings to strengthen system defenses
- Assist in managing a bug bounty program by engaging with external researchers and tracking reported issues
