Pigment is hiring a Senior Security Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Develop and prioritize a security roadmap aligned with risk exposure, focusing on product and infrastructure enhancements while gaining alignment from engineering and product teams.
  • Act as a trusted security advisor to developers and product leaders, identifying risks early and delivering practical, balanced security solutions.
  • Lead security assessments including third-party audits, internal reviews, red teaming, and bug bounty oversight, while tracking control effectiveness through KPIs.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of vulnerability handling—from discovery to resolution—ensuring timely mitigation and continuous improvement of tracking metrics.
  • Enhance threat detection by collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to gather key telemetry, refine alerting, and build response playbooks.
  • Support incident response and fraud investigations by contributing technical expertise and building automation to improve efficiency.
  • Help design and deliver security training programs and promote a culture of security awareness, especially within engineering and SRE teams.
