Showpad is hiring a Senior SecOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee the ongoing operations of cybersecurity systems, covering application, hardware, and cloud environments.
• Serve as the primary security liaison for internal departments including Product, Engineering, Cloud Operations, and Business Operations.
• Promote and verify the adoption of secure software development practices within engineering teams.
• Support development workflows with CI/CD pipelines that embed security and quality assurance tools.
• Operate and enhance the organization's CNAPP platform.
• Maintain vigilant oversight of cybersecurity operations to safeguard cloud systems and applications.
• Manage security posture across cloud platforms and hosted applications.
• Handle incident response for vulnerabilities, endpoint threats, user behavior anomalies, firewall alerts, IDS/IPS triggers, and external threat data.
• Work with internal groups to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
• Design and sustain automated security controls within continuous integration and delivery systems.
• Continuously evaluate risks, identify vulnerabilities, and deploy effective countermeasures.
