Responsibilities
- Manages the daily functions of the sanitation department.
- Ensures adherence to company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Leads, trains, and supports the development of sanitation team members.
- Supports routine facility housekeeping evaluations.
- Creates sanitation protocols aligned with Good Manufacturing Practices, USDA, and FDA guidelines.
- Enforces GMP standards and oversees employee behaviors related to hygiene, sanitation, and pest management.
- Delivers safety training in accordance with OSHA rules and internal safety policies.
- Identifies, designs, and rolls out improved sanitation methods and systems.
- Keeps accurate logs, documentation, and reporting records.
- Collaborates with production and maintenance teams to support plant goals.
