About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close activities related to revenue accounting
- Ensure accurate recognition of revenue in accordance with GAAP
- Collaborate with contracts team to review and interpret client agreements
- Maintain and improve revenue accounting policies and procedures
- Support external and internal audits with timely documentation
- Prepare and analyze revenue-related journal entries and reconciliations
- Partner with sales operations to align accounting treatment with business terms
- Identify and implement process improvements in revenue workflows
- Assist in the evaluation of new accounting standards and their impact
- Serve as a subject matter expert on revenue recognition topics
- Work closely with FP&A to provide accurate revenue data for forecasting
- Ensure compliance with internal controls over financial reporting
- Manage revenue-related system configurations and enhancements
- Train team members on revenue accounting policies and changes
- Document accounting positions for complex or non-routine transactions
- Support integration of new products or service lines into revenue systems
- Monitor key revenue metrics and report anomalies
- Coordinate with legal and sales teams during contract reviews
- Maintain revenue schedules and supporting documentation
- Drive consistency in revenue treatment across business units
