Responsibilities
- Deliver technical expertise in ongoing system operations and support for high-priority production environments.
- Conduct capacity analysis, plan infrastructure layouts, and manage system administration tasks.
- Design secure, scalable, and highly available UNIX/Linux server architectures.
- Offer round-the-clock rotating Level 3 support for Unix/Linux platforms and storage systems.
- Collaborate with distributed Unix/Linux teams to resolve incidents and fulfill service requests.
- Coordinate with hardware providers and third-party vendors during system diagnostics and repairs.
- Serve as a technical point of contact for client inquiries, issues, and service requirements.
- Establish operational policies including patch management, release deployment, testing, and system validation.
- Oversee HP/UX systems across production, testing, and development environments.
- Deploy and maintain virtualized server platforms, storage solutions, and disaster recovery setups.
- Monitor system performance and systematically diagnose software and hardware problems.
- Demonstrate understanding of configuration management and change control processes.
- Develop and maintain accurate technical documentation for system configurations and procedures.
