Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end testing strategy, including planning, design, and execution across all testing phases.
- Collaborate with product and development teams to define clear acceptance criteria and testable scenarios.
- Develop, run, and sustain comprehensive test cases across automation, manual, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Build and refine test frameworks, ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD and deployment workflows.
- Conduct code reviews for both application and test code to verify coverage of critical functionality.
- Track and analyze test execution results, application defects, and system performance metrics.
- Ensure transparent communication within the team and act as a key stakeholder in release and defect management.
- Champion effective testing methodologies and share quality best practices across departments.
- Mentor team members to adopt a proactive, quality-first approach in development processes.
- Drive continuous improvement by advocating for modern testing techniques and process optimization.
- Serve as a key contributor to the QA Center of Practice, shaping its direction through real-world team insights.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership and responsibility for the design and development of all aspects of testing.
- Work on acceptance criteria and test scenarios with the Product Owner and development team.
- Design, execute, and maintain test scenarios and automation capabilities for all test levels and types (e.g., automated, manual, regression, exploratory).
- Create and optimise test frameworks and integrate them into deployment pipelines.
- Participate in the code review process for both production and test code to ensure all critical cases are covered.
- Monitor test runs, application errors and performance.
- Make information flow, keeping the team informed and being a stakeholder in releases and defect tracking.
- Share the best testing and quality practices and processes across zooplus.
- Promote and coach the team towards a quality-focused mindset.
- Influence and lead the team towards continuous improvement and best testing practices.
- Be the reference of the QA Center of Practice, promoting their practices and influencing their strategy, bringing your team experience into their plan.
