Responsibilities
- Develop and run detailed test scenarios aligned with product specifications and defined acceptance conditions.
- Perform unscripted testing to uncover edge cases, user experience problems, and system anomalies.
- Log defects with precise reproduction steps, expected versus actual outcomes, and supporting materials like screenshots or logs.
- Work closely with developers, product leads, and design staff to align on requirements and address quality risks.
- Verify corrections by retesting fixed issues to ensure resolution and prevent regression.
- Build automated test scripts based on functional requirements and acceptance standards.
- Develop and manage test automation frameworks that are reusable, scalable, and support functional, regression, and performance validation.
- Integrate automated testing into continuous integration and deployment workflows with support from DevOps and engineering teams.
- Run automated functional tests to confirm feature correctness and adherence to quality benchmarks.
- Review test outcomes, troubleshoot failures, determine underlying causes, and coordinate with developers to resolve issues.
