Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases aligned with product specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Perform unscripted testing to uncover edge cases, usability problems, and unexpected behaviors.
- Log defects accurately with detailed reproduction steps, expected versus actual outcomes, and supporting evidence such as screenshots or logs.
- Partner with developers, product managers, and designers to clarify requirements and address quality-related issues.
- Verify fixes by retesting resolved bugs to ensure complete resolution and absence of regressions.
- Build, execute, and maintain automated test scripts based on functional and acceptance requirements.
- Construct and sustain scalable, reusable test automation frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Integrate automated testing processes into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps and engineering teams.
- Run automated test suites to confirm feature functionality and compliance with quality benchmarks.
- Analyze test outcomes, diagnose failures, determine root causes, and coordinate with developers for issue resolution.
