Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee test strategies for streaming workflows, playback systems, and features enhanced by artificial intelligence.
- Ensure consistent functionality and stable playback across web, mobile, and connected TV platforms.
- Evaluate streaming performance under real-world conditions, including adaptive bitrate logic, encoding pipelines, and DRM integrations.
- Use diagnostic tools such as Charles Proxy, Chrome DevTools, ADB, and Xcode to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with data and machine learning teams to verify updates to AI models, recommendation engines, and personalization features.
- Apply AI-powered testing tools to improve regression testing, user interface validation, and detection of unexpected behaviors.
- Enhance automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines to support faster and more dependable software releases.
- Promote early testing integration by working closely with product, engineering, and data science teams during planning and design stages.
- Manage quality assurance tasks across multiple simultaneous releases and authorize production deployments.
- Monitor post-release performance for anomalies in playback or recommendations and report critical issues quickly.
- Refine QA methodologies, performance metrics, and reporting practices for streaming and AI-driven features.
