Responsibilities
- Establish and take ownership of the QA automation practice for a product from scratch
- Test a React Native mobile application on both iOS and Android, along with APIs and web applications
- Define the overall QA strategy
- Choose the automation technology stack
- Develop automation frameworks
- Integrate testing into continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of experience in QA automation or as an SDET
- Proven track record of building an automation framework or QA practice from the ground up
- Hands-on experience with mobile automation using Appium, Detox, or Maestro
- Experience in API test automation
- Web automation experience with Playwright or Cypress
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Strong hands-on coding and automation skills
- Ability to independently define QA standards, tools, and processes
Nice to Have
- Experience testing React Native applications
- Experience with real-device or cloud device-farm testing
- Experience as the first or sole QA engineer on a team
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript automation
