Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and resolve issues throughout the software lifecycle.
- Implement and optimize test automation as part of the CI/CD pipeline for faster and more reliable releases.
- Perform regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across web and API layers.
- Monitor and maintain test environments and results to ensure continuous test coverage.
- Contribute to improving QA standards, documentation, and best practices within the team.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives as part of an agile workflow.
Requirements
- Proven professional experience in both manual and automated QA—you know how to break things and prevent bugs before they reach users.
- Hands-on experience building automation frameworks from scratch, ideally using Playwright and TypeScript (or similar tools).
- Strong experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Solid understanding of software development, testing principles, and Agile/DevOps workflows.
- Experience testing web applications, APIs, and mobile apps (React Native experience a plus).
- Experience in fast-paced startup environments and the ability to define QA strategy, processes, and standards from the ground up.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable taking ownership in a rapidly scaling environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with performance or security testing tools.
- Background in fintech or digital banking helpful but not essential.
