Responsibilities
- Manage the full QA lifecycle, starting with backlog refinement to identify logic flaws and edge cases prior to development.
- Ensure testing processes are consistent, reliable, and clearly communicated across teams.
- Lead automation initiatives by designing, developing, and maintaining test frameworks for iOS, Android, web, and API layers.
- Develop and implement automated test scripts to support continuous integration and delivery.
- Review and provide feedback on automation code submitted by developers through pull requests.
- Maintain the health, speed, and reliability of the test automation suite.
- Define and guide the long-term automation strategy, prioritizing what to automate and when.
- Create and manage a prioritized backlog of test scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Organize collaborative events like hackathons and pair programming sessions to engage engineers in automation efforts.
- Establish measurable quality standards by tracking key metrics such as test coverage, cycle time, defect escape rate, and regression stability.
- Use quality data to spot weaknesses, drive iterative improvements, and justify resource allocation.
- Promote a strong quality culture using tools like SonarCloud, CI/CD integrations, quality gates, and AI-powered testing solutions.
- Proactively lead and involve the team in quality initiatives without waiting for direction.

- Must be based in or near Amsterdam to attend the office on Mondays and Thursdays.
- Provided with a company laptop and all necessary tools to perform your role effectively.
