Responsibilities
- Build and sustain high-performing, secure, and scalable Python-based applications and services.
- Engage in every stage of the software development lifecycle from planning to deployment.
- Work closely with analysts, architects, engineers, testers, and clients to define requirements and technical direction.
- Help deliver solutions for Banking and Capital Markets, covering trading workflows, risk analysis, reporting, and data platforms.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across Trading, Market Risk, Finance, Operations, Quant, and Technology functions.
- Develop backend systems, APIs, automation tools, data pipelines, and reporting features using Python and associated technologies.
- Advocate for industry best practices in coding standards, design patterns, DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud-native development.
- Identify potential improvements and report development-related risks or challenges promptly.
- Review code and technical outputs produced by fellow developers to ensure quality and consistency.
- Stay current with emerging tools and methodologies, applying them where relevant to project goals.
- Engage in technology forums, internal knowledge sessions, and external events to support professional growth.
- Share insights and lessons learned from project work, particularly in Banking and Capital Markets implementations.
