Responsibilities
- Build and sustain high-performance, secure, and scalable Python-based systems and services.
- Engage in every stage of the software development lifecycle.
- Work closely with analysts, architects, developers, testers, data specialists, and clients to define requirements, workflows, system design, and priorities.
- Deliver technology solutions for Banking and Capital Markets, covering trade processing, risk modeling, reporting, data pipelines, analytics platforms, and financial operations.
- Coordinate with stakeholders from Trading, Market Risk, Finance, Operations, Quantitative Analysis, and Technology teams.
- Create backend systems, APIs, automation tools, data workflows, and reporting modules using Python and associated technologies.
- Advocate for industry best practices in clean code, design patterns, DevOps, continuous integration and delivery, test automation, and cloud-native development.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and report potential risks or problems in development tasks.
- Review code and technical work produced by fellow developers.
- Stay current with emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies relevant to project needs.
- Engage in technical forums, conferences, and internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Share project insights and domain expertise, especially related to Banking and Capital Markets implementations.
