Bristlecone is hiring a Senior Python Developer

Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable, secure applications using Python.
  • Develop and maintain software with Django, Flask, and FastAPI.
  • Create microservices architectures and event-driven systems.
  • Deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS infrastructure.
  • Utilize AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, and serverless platforms.
  • Implement and automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker.
  • Build and support event-streaming systems with Kafka.
  • Construct and oversee data pipelines and integration processes.
  • Apply SOLID principles, design patterns, and coding best practices.
  • Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests for strong test coverage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum settings.
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues using monitoring tools like Splunk and Datadog.
  • Guide junior developers and participate in architecture planning.
