AECOM is hiring a Senior Project Surveyor (Construction Consultancy)

As a Senior Project Surveyor in our Southampton Team, you will be joining like-minded individuals that have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions.   Here’s what you’ll do: - Provide a full suite of Cost Management duties to AECOM clients. - Lead Cost Management commissions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery. - Provide effective support and mentoring to Project Surveyors, Graduates and Apprentices. - Ensure commissions are managed and completed efficiently, on time and to the client’s satisfaction. - Develop strong reciprocal relationships with clients and members of the project team. - Be the primary interface with AECOM clients (new and existing). - Ensure all staff members reporting to you have current and relevant training. - Delivery of cost management outputs, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards. Minimum Requirements: - Proven experience in a consulting environment providing the full spectrum of CM services including Pre Contract Estimating; Procurement; Contract Administration, Cost Reporting and Final Account resolution.  - Proven ability to advise clients and design teams on cost, value and risk, not just cost in isolation. - Excellent IT Skills and the ability to utilise digital measurement, cost planning and tender document tools shall be essential. - Understanding of a variety of project types/sizes/sectors. Residential, Commercial, and Education sector experience would be advantageous - Able to work under own initiative where appropriate working closely with the Senior Cost Managers and Associates in the delivery of some of our projects.
