Responsibilities
- Lead multiple federal construction projects simultaneously from initiation to final closeout.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to defined scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records in WorkBench on a timely basis.
- Track financial performance, forecasts, and deliverables to meet contractual and organizational benchmarks.
- Act as primary supervisor for project team members assigned to federal contracts.
- Ensure each project has appropriate staffing with necessary technical skills and labor classifications.
- Collaborate with operations and resource management to plan and adjust team allocations.
- Adjust team size and composition proactively to maintain performance and protect financial margins.
- Support staffing decisions and personnel placement based on project demands and workload.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government clients and key external stakeholders.
- Ensure all work complies with federal contract regulations, including USACE and other agency guidelines.
- Attend and contribute to project meetings, progress evaluations, and performance discussions.
- Monitor budget performance, labor use, and profitability across assigned contracts.
- Identify potential threats to project profitability and implement corrective measures.
- Optimize allocation of personnel and resources across multiple concurrent projects.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and performance management for project staff.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance within project teams.
- Support professional development, training, and career growth aligned with project and organizational goals.
