About the Role
The Senior Project Manager will oversee multiple creative projects across a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard. This metric-driven role emphasizes project delivery, profitability, client satisfaction, and revenue growth. The manager will collaborate with clients, designers, and cross-functional teams, guiding scoping, resourcing, and execution. They will build client trust, identify growth opportunities, and, on some accounts, manage the full client relationship in the absence of a dedicated account lead.
Responsibilities
- Lead creative initiatives across various client portfolios, aligning timelines, budgets, priorities, and quality expectations
- Define project scope and estimate effort, creating schedules, budgets, resource plans, and creative briefs
- Collaborate with design and operations leads to assign team members based on skill set, availability, and client requirements
- Track project profitability, resource usage, and delivery outcomes, adjusting plans as business priorities evolve
- Oversee project timelines, risks, interdependencies, and communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality benchmarks and are completed within agreed timeframes and budgets
- Cultivate trusted client relationships through consistent, proactive communication and reliable execution
- Facilitate project kickoffs, status updates, planning workshops, and daily client interactions
- Gain in-depth knowledge of each client's business objectives and strategic goals to inform planning and uncover future needs
- Recognize opportunities to expand current engagements and collaborate with account or business development teams to pursue them
- For accounts without a dedicated account manager, assume full ownership of the client relationship, account performance, and growth potential
- Run weekly team standups and supervise a group of designers, writers, and quality control specialists
- Coach and support junior project managers, providing guidance and performance feedback as needed
- Work closely with business development, design, and operations teams to ensure smooth transitions and a unified client experience
- Identify ways to improve workflows and share effective strategies across the project management team
- Contribute to the evolution of the project management office by sharing insights and best practices

This is a metric-driven role with clear expectations around project delivery, profitability, client satisfaction, and revenue growth across your portfolio. You’ll work across a mix of ongoing membership accounts, fast-turn creative requests, and larger strategic initiatives. From estimating and scoping new work to planning resources and guiding delivery, you’ll partner closely with clients, designers, and cross-functional teams to keep projects moving while delivering an exceptional client experience. You’ll develop a strong understanding of your clients’ business, goals, and priorities, building trusted relationships and identifying opportunities to grow the partnership over time. On larger strategic accounts, you’ll partner with an Account Manager to support the overall account strategy. On other accounts, you’ll own both the day-to-day client relationship and account health.
