Optasia is hiring a Senior Product Manager, Fintech

Responsibilities

  • Support market analysis and help identify potential distribution partners across African markets
  • Uncover customer segments that are currently underserved by existing financial products
  • Investigate opportunities in emerging asset classes to expand product offerings
  • Track regulatory changes and evolving market conditions in target regions
  • Assess competitors’ product portfolios to identify missing features or capabilities
  • Specify and prioritize product features based on strategic goals
  • Maintain and manage the product backlog effectively
  • Lead prioritization of change requests and product enhancements
  • Assist in launching new products and integrating them with partner systems
  • Develop comprehensive use cases, business requirements, and marketing needs
  • Carry out feasibility assessments and draft business plans for new initiatives
  • Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle from design through development and release
  • Gather, document, analyze, and prioritize customer-driven feature requests and define minimum viable products
  • Monitor trends and shifts in the fintech credit industry
  • Track the launch of new credit-based financial products in the market
  • Assess potential distribution partners and tailor product offerings to their operational needs
  • Produce detailed business requirement documents
  • Develop product requirement specifications for innovative product concepts
  • Formulate go-to-market strategies for new product rollouts
  • Create and refine user guides, sales materials, proposal templates, and other supporting content
  • Collaborate with legal experts to draft contract frameworks
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align product components and ensure cohesive delivery
  • Train sales, operations, and partner teams on new product features and integrations
  • Track performance and refine new products and partnerships during the first year post-launch
