Responsibilities
- Drive the strategic direction and roadmap for data products, ensuring consistency with organizational goals.
- Collect and interpret business needs from stakeholders, converting them into clear user stories and acceptance standards.
- Prioritize data product backlogs by assessing business impact, technical viability, and strategic alignment through refinement workshops.
- Work closely with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure efficient and timely delivery of data solutions.
- Partner with business units to define data needs, uphold quality standards, and enable data-driven decision-making.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of data products, from ideation and design through deployment and iterative enhancement based on feedback.
- Track and assess data product performance using metrics to guide optimization and future development.
- Act as the main liaison for business stakeholders on new features, providing regular updates on progress, obstacles, and achievements.
- Promote internal adoption of data products via training, demonstrations, and communication to ensure alignment with user expectations.
- Stay informed on advancements in data technologies, analytics methods, and industry trends.
- Guide and develop junior product managers and team members in agile practices, stakeholder engagement, and delivery excellence.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience managing complex products, preferably in fast-moving or regulated sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Science, or a related field.
- Strong grasp of data warehousing, ETL workflows, and data modeling principles.
- Experience with agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
- Proven track record in leadership, mentoring, and managing organizational change.
- Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills for problem resolution.
- Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Background in the iGaming sector.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals and their integration into data products.
- Hold relevant certifications in product management or data analytics.
