Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic direction of the AI-powered coaching product.
- Define and rank features for both coach and member interfaces, focusing on AI-enhanced coaching capabilities and member engagement with progress insights.
- Maintain equilibrium between immediate deliverables and future-oriented product vision.
- Convert deep coaching knowledge into functional product elements.
- Partner with coaching experts to understand methodologies and integrate them into product design.
- Develop a clear sense of what makes coaching effective and use it as a standard for AI-assisted experiences.
- Identify and support key operational needs within coaching services.
- Collaborate with coaching staff to detect inefficiencies and prioritize tools that improve workflows, matching, tracking, forecasting, and scalability.
- Engage with HR decision-makers and enterprise clients to understand their requirements.
- Gain insight into how HR, learning & development, and people leaders assess and select coaching solutions.
- Integrate buyer requirements into product planning without compromising end-user experience.
- Lead product discovery and user research initiatives in collaboration with design.
- Work alongside designers to conduct interviews, prototype ideas, and interpret feedback from coaches, members, and HR buyers.
- Contribute to a shared user research practice by combining product insight with design to understand diverse user needs.
- Incorporate AI tools into daily workflows as a core part of product management.
- Apply AI for research synthesis, specification drafting, and idea exploration in everyday tasks.
- Shape the product team’s approach to AI by distinguishing meaningful applications from distractions.
- Lead team planning, processes, and tooling decisions.
- Manage product execution workflows including sprint planning, retrospectives, and task tracking using Linear.
- Use current tools like Linear, Slack, and Figma, and remain open to experimenting with new ones.
- Continuously improve team processes, not just product outputs.
- Work closely with engineering and design throughout the development lifecycle.
- Write clear product specifications, make practical scope choices, assist with prototyping, and stay involved in implementation.
- Remain engaged in execution details, especially in environments with evolving priorities and incomplete requirements.
- Help the team become more structured while adapting to change during growth phases.
