Responsibilities
- Design and build a data pipeline at massive scale.
- Build highly scalable and resilient backend services in Go to ingest, process, and query massive amounts of telemetry data.
- Solve complex data engineering puzzles around efficient storage and querying of terabytes of data in ClickHouse.
- Optimize data pipelines for cost and performance as the platform grows.
- Lay the foundational backend architecture for future innovation, including robust microservices, intelligent data routing, and seamless integration with new data sources.
Requirements
- Extensive experience building and scaling distributed backend systems in Go.
- Deep familiarity with high-performance columnar data stores like ClickHouse.
- Experience designing clean, robust RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of the nuances of distributed systems.
- Proven ability to build and optimize data pipelines.
- Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment where you can make a huge impact.
