Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete cost calculation process for high-end jewellery, covering diamonds, precious metals, labour, and vendor pricing with precision.
  • Enforce pricing standards and track cost deviations to maintain healthy profit margins.
  • Deliver transparent financial insights and assist in budget tracking for couture, collection, and custom jewellery development.
  • Serve as the primary steward of product information in SAP, Firebrand, and Product Development platforms, ensuring data correctness throughout the lifecycle.
  • Lead the development and upkeep of Product Approval Forms and Bills of Materials, maintaining strict version control.
  • Promote effective use of systems by supporting prototype intake, purchase order updates, inventory checks, and reconciliation tasks.
  • Foster strong partnerships with luxury jewellery vendors to ensure transparency, performance growth, and dependable delivery schedules.
  • Collaborate with the Diamond Centre to keep diamond cost databases current and aligned with prototype valuations.
  • Enhance and manage costing tools and models to enable reliable and uniform quotation processes.
  • Design and monitor KPIs that measure cost correctness, development cycle times, and margin outcomes.
  • Convert complex data sets into actionable insights that guide Product Development and other teams in strategic choices.
  • Examine discrepancies in cost and timing to inform sourcing strategies and drive ongoing enhancements.
  • Record, evaluate, and refine Product Development procedures to enable efficient and scalable operations.
  • Utilize Asana, Power BI, and digital platforms to monitor project phases, schedules, and expenditures.
  • Lead initiatives to improve systems, workflows, and interdepartmental cooperation.
  • Coordinate full-cycle Product Development timelines, ensuring adherence to stage-gate protocols and timely milestone approvals.
  • Lead governance for new product introductions, including gate review preparation, NPD meeting agendas, action follow-ups, and decision documentation.
  • Ensure cross-functional teams meet deadlines by monitoring risks, dependencies, and critical paths, escalating issues when needed, and enabling urgent decisions.
  • Streamline project workflows, templates (Excel and Asana), and operational methods to increase execution speed, consistency, and visibility.
  • Keep project schedules and status reports updated in Asana and related systems, providing stakeholders with clear insight into progress, obstacles, and delivery risks.
