Position Overview:
3rd Risk, a Diligent Company is looking for a Senior Product Designer to drive UX/UI design within our fast-moving product design team. As part of the broader UX department, you’ll lead high-impact initiatives - balancing future-focused exploration with critical design efforts that extend beyond traditional product roadmaps. At Diligent, design is bold and thoughtful, shaping products trusted by leaders worldwide. You’ll guide design direction, influence product strategy, and partner across teams to transform complex challenges into simple, elegant solutions that make a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process end-to-end: from discovery and ideation to final handoff and iteration post-launch.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define problems and shape solutions.
- Translate research insights and business requirements into clear, usable, and visually compelling designs.
- Champion user-centered design and ethical AI integration within product teams and across the organization.
- Evaluate and adopt AI-powered tools that support design research, prototyping, testing, and content generation.
- Facilitate workshops, design critiques, and collaborative sessions to align teams.
- Mentor and provide feedback to junior designers.
- Actively contribute to design systems, processes, and team best practices.
Required Experience/Skills:
- 5-7 years of professional experience in product design, including SaaS and enterprise software.
- Demonstrated ability to own complex design projects end-to-end.
- Strong foundation in UX and visual design, supported by an excellent portfolio.
- Deep understanding of product design cycles, from research through delivery and iteration.
- Fluency in modern design tools.
- Experience conducting user research.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills, comfortable presenting as well as collaborating with peers.
- Experience working with and contributing to design systems to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency.
- Ability to apply AI in design workflows.
- Awareness of responsible AI practices, bias considerations, and ethical implications.
- Bonus: coding knowledge, motion design, or data visualization skills.
- This role is based in Amsterdam and follows a hybrid working model. Candidates must already be residing in the Netherlands and have the legal right to work in the Netherlands at the time of application.
