Photoroom is looking for a Senior Product Designer to elevate the user experience across our mobile, web, and API products. In this high-autonomy role, you will have a direct impact on products used by millions, working end-to-end from research to polished interface.
What You'll Do
- Work on design end-to-end—from research and UX to UI and design systems.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to bring designs into production, adapting to platform requirements.
- Balance speed and polish, prioritizing product impact and pragmatic design decisions.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate production and focus on bold ideas and high-impact execution.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration with Design, Growth, Community, Brand, and Machine Learning teams to ensure product coherence.
What We're Looking For
- Active portfolio with recent mobile UI work showing a good eye for typography, color, and space.
- Understanding of responsive design requirements.
- Action-oriented and pragmatic, able to deliver at pace without losing sight of craft or consistency.
- Experience working with a design system and approaching design as an interconnected system.
- Ability to fluently articulate design decisions and work with various stakeholders.
- Cross-platform experience, capable of doing mockups and designing prototypes for mobile, web, etc.
- Mastery of design tools such as Figma.
- Good knowledge of graphic and animation tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, or After Effects.
Nice to Have
- Experience as a standalone freelancer or part of building a creative tool at an early stage.

You will join a team of 100+, reporting to the Head of Design. You will collaborate closely with engineers and cross-functional teams including Design, Growth, Community, Brand, and Machine Learning.
