About the Role
Design user experiences for autonomous vehicle operations platforms, translating complex technical workflows into intuitive, scalable interfaces that support remote monitoring, incident resolution, and system oversight.
Responsibilities
- Develop user-centered designs for platforms managing driverless vehicle fleets
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to understand system capabilities and constraints
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for operational tools
- Conduct user research to identify pain points in current workflows
- Design interfaces for real-time monitoring and remote intervention systems
- Define interaction patterns for alert management and incident response
- Work with product managers to prioritize features based on operational needs
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable visualizations
- Ensure designs align with safety and reliability standards
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability testing
- Maintain and evolve design systems for consistency
- Support the development team during implementation
- Design for both desktop and mobile operational interfaces
- Anticipate edge cases in autonomous operations and design accordingly
- Balance user needs with technical feasibility in design decisions
