Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary legal contact for product, engineering, supply chain, and marketing teams, offering counsel on legal matters tied to product development, marketing, sales, and regulatory compliance
- Guide executive leadership on legal risks associated with product offerings, help build compliance programs, and deliver actionable strategies to manage legal exposure across regions
- Translate intricate and evolving legal requirements into clear, practical guidance that supports rapid product innovation
- Enhance product launch procedures to ensure new offerings meet legal protection and compliance standards
- Act as a specialist on regulatory matters affecting products, including import/export controls and government contracting rules, and maintain records of compliance
- Build scalable global compliance systems for export regulations such as OFAC, ITAR, and AI-related controls, including risk assessment and audit protocols
- Track global regulatory changes and assess their potential impact on existing and future product lines
