Responsibilities
- Act as a leading resource on international data protection laws and regulatory requirements.
- Track evolving legislation and regulatory trends in privacy and artificial intelligence, assessing implications for product development and operations.
- Partner with privacy, security, and product teams to build and manage a scalable privacy program aligned with changing legal obligations.
- Lead the creation and execution of an AI governance framework, including policies, operational procedures, and integration into the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with legal counterparts to deliver privacy guidance during product design, development, and launch phases.
- Draft and maintain standardized contractual documents supporting privacy compliance, such as data processing agreements and intra-company arrangements.
- Support commercial transactions by advising on global data handling, biometric regulations, and AI-related legal considerations.
- Assist in managing compliance audits and advancing consistent privacy practices across regions.
- Provide strategic advice during data incidents and support responses to regulatory inquiries from international authorities.
- Champion a culture of privacy and security awareness across internal teams and in external engagements.
