Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain high-quality software for both backend and frontend systems.
- Engage in the entire software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements through design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Implement best practices and architectural patterns to ensure applications are scalable, maintainable, performant, and secure.
- Adopt a spec-driven development approach: convert product specifications into clear technical specs, then deliver using AI-assisted tools as a core part of the workflow.
- Guide less experienced engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical mentoring.
Nice to Have
- Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, or service-oriented architecture (SOA).
- Practical experience with spec-driven development enhanced by AI—writing specifications that AI tools (such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) can execute against; prior work in an AI-first engineering environment is a strong advantage.
- For Principal-level candidates: demonstrated technical leadership, influencing architecture and engineering decisions, and driving complex initiatives from concept to production.
