About the Role
This role involves leading the development and deployment of secure identity platforms tailored to federal agencies, with a focus on compliance, risk reduction, and scalable architecture.
Responsibilities
- Design and configure identity and access management systems for government environments
- Ensure solutions meet federal security standards such as FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST
- Collaborate with federal clients to understand compliance and operational requirements
- Lead technical discussions during solution scoping and implementation phases
- Develop secure system integrations with existing federal IT infrastructure
- Document security controls and provide evidence for audit readiness
- Support certification and accreditation processes for federal systems
- Troubleshoot complex security and identity issues in production environments
- Advise on zero trust architecture principles within government frameworks
- Deliver technical training and knowledge transfer to client teams
- Participate in pre-sales engineering support when required
- Evaluate new security technologies for federal use cases
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal cybersecurity directives
- Implement monitoring and reporting features for access governance
- Guide secure configuration of cloud-based identity platforms
- Work with cross-functional teams to align security with mission objectives
- Assist in developing risk assessment documentation
- Ensure alignment with federal identity standards such as NIST 800-63
- Support incident response activities related to identity systems
- Review system designs for adherence to federal security baselines
- Provide input on policy development for access control
- Lead proof-of-concept deployments for new capabilities
- Optimize performance and scalability of security solutions
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive government data
- Ensure secure software development lifecycle practices are followed
