Responsibilities
- Shape the long-term enterprise architecture vision and technology roadmap in alignment with strategic business goals and value-driven priorities.
- Develop and enforce architectural standards, principles, and constraints to enhance system consistency, scalability, resilience, and operational performance.
- Lead technical strategy for major transformation programs, including platform evolution, application portfolio optimization, data architecture advancement, and AI integration.
- Act as the final authority on high-complexity, organization-wide technology decisions requiring deep architectural expertise.
- Promote the integration of AI-driven development methods across architecture, product, and engineering functions.
- Create architectural guidelines and boundaries for AI-powered applications, autonomous workflows, intelligent automation systems, and Generative AI implementations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to adopt AI-first software development lifecycle practices that boost developer efficiency and accelerate delivery.
- Design frameworks enabling AI tools and agents to utilize architecture documentation, governance rules, and design specifications effectively.
- Lead cross-domain, cross-platform architectural design for enterprise-level strategic initiatives.
- Architect distributed, cloud-native systems using microservices, event-driven models, API-first approaches, and domain-driven design methodologies.
- Define standardized integration patterns, unified data models, and platform capabilities to minimize redundancy and fragmentation.
- Ensure architectural choices support sustainable innovation, rapid scaling, and long-term system maintainability.
- Implement governance structures that enhance architectural integrity, risk oversight, delivery reliability, and visibility into interdependencies.
- Chair Architecture Review Boards and lead design evaluations for critical projects and strategic technology investments.
- Reduce accumulated technical debt through targeted modernization plans, standardization, and measurable improvements in engineering quality.
- Guarantee all solutions comply with security, regulatory, reliability, resilience, and operational best practices.
- Coach and develop principal and senior architects, as well as engineering leaders, to strengthen technical leadership across the organization.
- Support the development of architecture career paths, competency models, hiring standards, and leadership development initiatives.
- Produce reusable architectural blueprints, reference models, decision-making tools, and proven practices for enterprise-wide use.
- Advise executive leadership while promoting a culture centered on engineering excellence and continuous innovation.
- Assess emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud-native platforms, platform engineering, developer tools, and automation trends.
- Identify ways to align technology investments with improved business performance, efficiency, customer experience, and scalability.
- Inform strategic decisions on building or acquiring platforms through technical and financial evaluation.
