About the Role
The Senior Portfolio Analyst will act as both a data expert and commercial strategist, working across marketing, product, operations, and finance to understand and enhance how the business generates revenue. This role combines analytical rigor with strategic advisory to influence decision-making, improve performance, and support scalable growth within a high-performing analytics team.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leadership to implement a robust analytics framework that enables rapid, data-driven portfolio and business decisions.
- Act as a strategic commercial advisor, shaping business direction and challenging existing assumptions to elevate decision-making across the organisation.
- Partner with leaders across key functions including Marketing, Product, CRM, Pricing, Risk, Operations, and Finance to uncover growth and efficiency opportunities.
- Evaluate full-funnel revenue drivers such as customer acquisition, retention, monetisation, and lifetime value to inform strategic priorities.
- Lead end-to-end problem-solving initiatives using a consultancy approach—from defining business questions to structuring analysis and delivering actionable recommendations—on topics including generosity optimisation, pricing, casino performance, deal evaluation, and risk modelling.
- Develop and communicate performance insights that directly impact revenue, customer behaviour, and profitability.
- Support senior insights leaders in integrating data-driven decision-making into regular business performance discussions.
- Work with finance and commercial teams to improve forecasting accuracy, campaign return on investment, and profit and loss modelling.
- Collaborate with central analytics teams to establish and maintain a comprehensive analytics infrastructure covering transactional, market, competitive, and customer data.
- Promote a data-centric culture by mentoring colleagues, sharing knowledge, and advocating for analytical best practices.
