Responsibilities
- Design, set up, and manage Kubernetes clusters running in both cloud and on-premises setups for live workloads
- Automate the creation and management of infrastructure through code-based templates and workflows
- Deploy core platform components using GitOps methodologies to ensure version-controlled operations
- Maintain and improve CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines used by development and data engineering teams
- Establish comprehensive monitoring, log collection, and alert systems for platform health and performance
- Maintain high standards for platform security, uptime, and system responsiveness
- Work closely with security specialists to meet RMF compliance and other security mandates
- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and platform problems in distributed systems environments
