This role involves leading the development and maintenance of core platform infrastructure, enabling engineering teams to build and deploy services efficiently and securely.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust, scalable backend systems
- Optimize platform performance and reliability
- Collaborate with developers to improve tooling and workflows
- Design APIs for internal and external service integration
- Ensure systems meet security and compliance standards
- Lead incident response and post-mortem analysis
- Drive automation across deployment and monitoring pipelines
- Mentor engineers on best practices in platform design
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies
- Support migration of legacy systems to modern architectures
- Monitor system health and proactively address issues
- Work closely with product teams to understand requirements
- Document technical designs and operational procedures
- Contribute to capacity planning and scalability strategies
- Implement observability solutions across services
