Responsibilities
- Manage large-scale infrastructure, currently hosted on AWS, ensuring high reliability, observability, and cost efficiency during the transition from AWS CDK to Terraform.
- Develop and streamline the CI/CD pipeline as the codebase moves to a monorepo, including fast, incremental end-to-end testing.
- Enable deployment into customer-managed cloud environments by delivering reusable Terraform modules, container images, runbooks, and documentation.
- Lead the release management process for self-hosted deployments, including versioned and signed releases, support policies, and telemetry reporting.
- Establish secure and deployable standards for new code repositories by collaborating with security and engineering leads, using templates and best-practice workflows.
- Improve system reliability through SLOs, observability tooling, and effective incident response protocols for critical outages.
- Design infrastructure as a product with self-service capabilities to reduce dependency on platform teams.
- Integrate AI tools such as LLMs and agents into development workflows for infrastructure-as-code generation, test creation, and documentation drafting, with trusted safeguards.
