Read-A-Thon is hiring a Senior PHP Full-Stack Developer

About the Role

The role involves developing and maintaining server-side logic, databases, and front-end components to ensure high-performance and responsive web applications.

Responsibilities

Design and implement new features for web platforms
Maintain and optimize existing PHP codebases
Collaborate with front-end developers on UI integration
Write clean, scalable, and testable code
Troubleshoot and debug production issues
Participate in code reviews and technical planning
Ensure application security and data protection standards
Work with relational databases and write efficient queries
Integrate third-party APIs and services
Support deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes
Monitor system performance and suggest improvements
Document technical specifications and workflows
Follow software development best practices
Contribute to architectural decisions
Assist in refining development workflows
Engage in agile project management cycles
Coordinate with product managers on feature requirements
Evaluate new technologies for potential adoption
Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
Implement responsive design principles
Maintain version control using Git
Optimize applications for speed and scalability
Support QA during testing phases
Respond to critical system alerts
Mentor junior developers when needed
