Renesas Electronics is hiring a Senior PCB LAYOUT ENGINEER

Renesas Electronics is looking for a Senior PCB Layout Engineer to create and refine PCB layout designs for a wide variety of products. You'll collaborate closely with engineers and customers to finalize product specifications, ensuring designs meet performance and manufacturability standards.

What You'll Do

• Complete development of CAD layout from footprint definition through detailed component placement and constraints management.
• Set up constraints for each PCB layout project.
• Be responsible for design releases, generating artwork files, ODB++, FAB drawings, ICT reports, and electronic PCB documentation.
• Deliver Gerber files to PCB fabrication and assembly houses and plan the lead time.
• Resolve DFM (Design for Manufacturability) issues.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of direct experience in PCB layout design using Cadence OrCAD Schematic Capture and Allegro software.
• Detailed understanding of multilayer PCB construction.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Possess basic English communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with other PCB design software tools (Allegro, DraftSight, CAM350); Altium is a plus.
• Experience with advanced PCB manufacturing techniques such as blind vias and microvias.
• Power electronics or power management experience.
• Familiarity with PCB fabrication and assembly processes.
