Hydrosat is hiring a Senior Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a flexible operations resource for the CCO, taking on cross-functional analysis, coordination, and projects as priorities evolve.
  • Create clear, well-organized Excel models and PowerPoint presentations that simplify complex operational and financial topics for leadership decision-making.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and facilitate monthly revenue reviews, business reviews, and other leadership initiatives with the CCO, department heads, and executive team.
  • Collaborate closely with the CCO and executive leadership on corporate operations, business planning, and company financial matters.
  • Develop and maintain models and plans covering areas such as ERM, ESG, OKRs, KPIs, benchmarking, budgeting, and compensation planning to support organizational infrastructure.
  • Define and monitor efficiency metrics across departments, providing leadership with consistent performance measurement.
  • Support departmental modeling and planning by working with department leads to build and refine their operating plans.
  • Create financial and compensation models that withstand scrutiny from leadership, the board, and investors.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Excel modeling and creating polished, executive-ready PowerPoint presentations.
  • Experience in corporate operations, business operations, or corporate finance, ideally with exposure to complex company structures or financing topics.
  • A structured and organized approach to thinking, ensuring analysis tells a clear story even if not personally presenting.
  • Comfort working closely to support a CCO and other executive leaders, requiring coordination skills, judgment, and discretion.
  • Ability to multitask and handle a wide range of professional topics, considerations, time zones, and daily work requirements.
  • Excellent written and analytical communication skills.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to both large and small company priorities and realities, such as starting at a larger organization before moving to a startup or vice versa.
  • A natural inclination to organize thinking into clear structures, even if presenting is not the primary focus, with future opportunities for presentation.
  • Comfort working remotely as part of a distributed team, with preference for candidates based on the US East Coast.
  • Background in a startup or scale-up environment, having helped build an operations or similar function from the ground up.
  • Experience directly supporting a C-level executive or executive leadership team.
  • Exposure to the space, geospatial, Earth observation, or other deep-tech industries.
  • Hands-on experience building departmental planning, efficiency, or compensation models.
