About the Role
We're looking for a self-motivated Senior Node.js Engineer to join our agile CMS team. You'll focus on delivering robust features and improvements while writing clean, maintainable code aligned with our architectural goals. In addition to development, you'll mentor peers, participate in code reviews, and help raise engineering standards. You'll work on a proprietary headless CMS built with Node.js, serving as the central content engine for the organization, handling over 400,000 pages through an event-driven, service-oriented architecture hosted on GCP and managed via a single monorepo.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features for the central content management system
- Build reusable components within an NPM Workspaces and Turbo monorepo environment
- Manage Kubernetes manifests as part of application ownership on a company-wide platform
- Track deployment performance and health using Grafana and Datadog
- Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Document technical decisions and proposals using RFC and ADR formats
- Support team growth through mentorship, knowledge exchange, and peer collaboration
