Responsibilities
- Design and deploy secure network architectures across multiple environments
- Maintain firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Monitor network performance and implement optimizations
- Support cloud networking including VPCs, subnets, and routing
- Troubleshoot connectivity and security incidents promptly
- Enforce network access controls and segmentation policies
- Implement and manage zero-trust security frameworks
- Configure and maintain SD-WAN solutions
- Lead incident response for network-related security breaches
- Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy standards
- Collaborate with IT and security teams on threat mitigation
- Document network configurations and security protocols
- Manage network hardware and virtual appliances
- Support hybrid and remote work environments with secure access
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments on network infrastructure
- Deploy and monitor network encryption protocols
- Administer DNS, DHCP, and IP address management
- Integrate security tools with network monitoring platforms
- Evaluate new networking technologies for adoption
- Provide escalation support for critical network outages
- Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans for networks
- Conduct security audits focused on network layers
- Train team members on network security best practices
- Work with third-party vendors on network service delivery
- Ensure redundancy and high availability in network design
