Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive network security plans
- Set up and manage firewall systems
- Manage and optimize virtual private networks
- Operate and configure forward and reverse proxy services
- Maintain and adjust load balancing solutions
- Continuously monitor network activity for threats and intrusions
- Respond promptly to identified security breaches
- Conduct regular security evaluations and vulnerability scans
- Guide and mentor internal networking personnel
- Develop automated workflows and response playbooks
- Produce and update technical documentation for processes and compliance standards such as NIS2
- Serve as a subject matter expert during security incident resolution
- Collaborate across departments to strengthen security posture
