Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy resilient, scalable network solutions across public cloud platforms like Azure and AWS, as well as physical infrastructure spanning data centers, campuses, and branch offices.
- Strengthen security in multi-cloud environments using advanced networking techniques such as segmentation, encryption, and strict policy enforcement.
- Work closely with security teams to detect and resolve vulnerabilities in network architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups to enable smooth integration across platform, infrastructure, and software-as-a-service environments.
- Guide and assist team members, promoting knowledge transfer and professional development within the networking group.
- Oversee monitoring and operations of multi-cloud networks, leading incident response, root cause investigations, and resolution efforts.
- Lead enterprise-wide initiatives for routing, peering, SD-WAN, firewalls, load balancers, switches, and other critical infrastructure components.
- Assess and integrate cloud-native networking technologies, including service meshes and private link services.
- Support cloud governance initiatives to advance cloud adoption and ensure alignment across departments.
- Create detailed documentation for cloud networking systems, merger and acquisition integrations, and migration initiatives.
- Apply industry best practices to improve cloud network efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with SOX and PCI standards through proper documentation, evidence collection, and audit preparation.
- Evaluate emerging networking technologies to streamline and modernize the organization's network infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership and engineering support across business units in coordination with security and IT teams.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex network and security issues, ensuring timely resolution and team coordination.
- Advance automation using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code to minimize manual processes and improve scalability.
- Lead initiatives to reduce technical debt by modernizing legacy systems and applying current best practices.
- Manage and maintain load balancing systems to ensure reliable traffic distribution and system uptime.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning for both cloud and on-premises environments to minimize downtime.
- Track and analyze network performance metrics and KPIs to drive operational excellence.
- Participate in on-call rotations to deliver after-hours support and maintain continuous operations.
- Design, implement, and manage physical network systems—including switches, routers, wireless networks, and cabling—across offices and data centers.
- Coordinate with facilities and IT teams to plan and execute office expansions, build-outs, and hardware refreshes for network infrastructure.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, covering both cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or equivalent) and physical corporate networks.
- Demonstrated ability to design secure, scalable, and high-performance network solutions.
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience deploying and managing SD-WAN, cloud firewalls, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and load balancing technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of core networking protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, and VPN, along with network monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with security frameworks like Zero Trust, NIST, or CIS benchmarks.
- Experience applying cloud cost optimization strategies.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
- Proven track record mentoring team members and encouraging collaborative, innovative work cultures.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive mindset toward resolving technical issues.

- Relevant certifications such as Azure Network Engineer Associate, AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, or CCNP.
